College RelationsBAHRA is the sponsoring chapter of the Student Chapter at the University of Colorado. Some of the objectives and benefits of a Student Chapter include: -Offering meaningful programs to broaden students understanding of human resources, the business and professional world. -Students establish and develop contacts with human resource professionals working in the profession. Opportunities for mentoring and internships may be available. -As the sponsoring chapter, BAHRA offers scholarships to students members and attendance at monthly chapter meetings is $5.00. -Student membership in BAHRA is free. -The student chapter enjoys the resources of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), including a discount on membership dues. SHRM membership offers students the opportunity to supplement their classroom education with real world knowledge and hands-on experience. SHRM sponsors Student Conferences and the Case Competition. |
