After several years of inactivity, we are in the process of reactivating the Student Chapter at the University of Colorado.  BAHRA is the sponsoring chapter of this student chapter.

Some of the objectives and benefits of a Student Chapter include:

-Offering meaningful programs to broaden students understanding of human resources, the business and professional world.

-Students establish and develop contacts with human resource professionals working in the profession.  Opportunities for mentoring and internships may be available.

-As the sponsoring chapter, BAHRA offers scholarships to students members and free attendance at monthly chapter meetings,

-Student membership in BAHRA is free,

-The student chapter enjoys the resources of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), including a discount on membership dues. SHRM membership offers students the opportunity to supplement their classroom education with real world knowledge and hands-on experience.  SHRM sponsors Student Conferences and the HR Student Games.
