Bio for Elizabeth (Bette) Frick, Ph.D., "The Text Doctor®"
Elizabeth Frick, the Text Doctor®, teaches writing in Denver Metro companies and organizations. Her interactive classes and practical workshops help everyone improve communication skills. She won the Excellence in Training award for 2002 from the Association of Professional Communications Consultants (APCC).
Bette holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Minnesota. She served as President of the Society for Technical Communication (STC), Twin Cities Chapter (2003-2004). Bette currently writes the “Business Matters” column for the Society of Technical Communication publication Intercom and is an Associate Fellow of the STC.
Dr. Frick relocated to Boulder in 2005. BAHRA was one of the first organizations she joined, and she has written columns for the BAHRA newsletter for the last three years. She also serves BAHRA as webmaster.
